So, I’ve been having some unresolved issues, and they are still unresolved. I’ve tried everything, made sure every piece is in order, operating, and plugged in properly. 

My lilypad is wonderful and working — check.

My accelerometer completely fine — check.

The sewing is connecting — check.

Power source makin power — check.

Works when plugged USB — check.

Insert BlueTooth — FAIL.

The blue tooth is connected and paired… and even tells me it is sending back and forth, but the numbers are not coming through. This really is the critical piece in the project, otherwise I can’t really flip in it. 

Big bummer. I don’t feel like the bluetooth knows what its doing. Mister BlueSmirf Gold is not doing what it is supposed to do. 

But anyways heres the shirt on when I was testing it tethered. (I look slightly happier than I actually am.. I’m mostly bummed I’m still tethered)

The front view includes the lilypad main board which is the larger one on my upper chest area and the smaller one is the accelerometer sensor that measures the movement.

Since there are 3 different types of mental choreography — technical, energy, and self-esteem, this wearable suit will help train them all. 

The technical MC will be pre-recorded and be on a strict time-based output… which isn’t affected by the movement (but would be a great addition some day). So basically the gymnast will train to be consistent with their rhythm in addition to being timely with their words. 

The energy and self-esteem statements will be controlled by movement since these are needed mostly in the middle of movement. Things like “you can do it,” “good,” “keep it up,” etc. are a couple of examples of this. So the idea is that when you are going for a skill it will trigger the patch to output positive reinforcement in the middle to encourage and continue the brain to think the right things. 

As far as the video output is concerned: there are 2 tracks, one is a video of a mounted camera roughly in the position that the accelerometer is on the shirt, and one track with visible words. The two tracks will fade in between each other depending on velocity that is outputted through the accelerometer. 

Heres a look at the patch. The video component is on the right, technical MC top center, and energy on the left center.

This interaction can be viewed on a graph which involves 2 curves, the supply curve and the demand curve. Where these two curves intersect displays the point of equilibrium in a market. 

P represents the price of a product and Q represents the quantity. In this example the demand curve moves to the right which creates a change in the quantity demanded, quantity, and the price.

Supply and demand effects the decision making process in a consumer and also affects price.

These interactions are mostly inherited and engrained into the brian. These signs stand for complicated responses for the most part but are simplified and trigger an automated response with the driver. If all drivers follow the automatic responses properly then a safe driving environment is created.

In the first interaction is the actual process of photosynthesis which takes CO2 and converts it into O2 for humans to breathe.

There are a couple of interactions humans have with this process, the air quality affects the ability of the sun to give energy to the plant and the process. Humans contribute to air pollution through many interactions such as car emissions, factory emissions, etc.

The other interaction humans have a hand in is the quality of the available water. When water is polluted through chemicals, factory emissions, dumping, etc. it is absorbed into the plant and recycled through precipitation and rain.
